For University Singers, yesterday was an action-packed day. We all showed up at 8 A.M. bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to perform for almost 1500 screaming kids at the annual Preview show; this audience is always our best…they just eat it all up! Afterwards, they all wanted high fives and Nick, Sarah and I even had a mob of kids wanting us to sign stuff! I also saw a lot of kids that I work with at the Muncie Boys and Girls Club, so that added so extra excitement for me personally. After the show, one elementary group stayed and ate in our rehearsal room while we conversed with them. One girl went as far as learning part of our closer, “Loving You,” so she could sing it with us!
Now we get to last night, the opening night of Spectacular 2007! I think it was a great opening night! By the end of the show, I don’t know how I was still as energized as I was; “Love Found Me” usually takes whatever I have left! If you didn’t get to see it last night, I sure hope you get to be in attendance tonight! I’m still denying the fact that after tonight, this show is done, this cast is almost at an end, and that summer is almost here. Now only 51 more weeks until it all happens again!
