Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassadors
The Ball State University Singers, founded in 1965 in celebration of Ball State Teacher’s College advancement to university status, are going into their 45th year of entertaining audiences. At home, across the state, and around the world, we’re known as Indiana’s Official Goodwill Ambassadors. Over the years, the group has performed with performers such as Kenny Rogers, Liza Minnelli, Red Skeleton, and Dionne Warwick. Performances have taken the group all around the world, including the U.S.S.R., Germany, France, Great Britain, and most recently China, just to name a few. Presently, it is under the director of Alan Alder.
The Ball State University Singers is a production of Ball State University and represents the College of Fine Arts and School of Music. University Singers is a community service and leadership-building student organization as well as a University-sponsored entertainment ensemble.
